Hi! I’m Erica,
Farm Wife. Twin Mama. Country Living.
Together with my family, we are Milla Market. Sustainably sourced, ethically raised food has always been a passion of ours. My husband grew up on a livestock farm, raising cattle and hogs, and I grew up on the edge of a small town where we always had a large garden. Since purchasing our farmstead, we have developed a hobby for gardening, preserving and canning.
In March of 2022, after our kids' first birthday, we decided to take the leap into poultry and purchased laying hens. Our purpose was to get our kids involved into livestock in a safe way for their age and begin to teach them responsibility and animal husbandry. Later that summer, we raised our first batch of Cornish Hens, and that Fall we obtained licensing under the Cottage Food Act to sell canned and baked goods for the Holidays.

By the end of 2023, we will have raised over 400 Cornish Hens and over 30 Thanksgiving Turkeys, and prepared dozens of pies, cookies, and canned goods this calendar year, on top of the small flock of laying hens we maintain.
